Maple Bear Katowice opened on 1 September 2023 in a newly renovated building on Stawowa 6, a pedestrian mall in the centre of Katowice, a few minutes’ walk from the central train station. The building dating back to 1880’s originally housed a German school and was beautifully restored by the Maple Bear team and its contractors. The school, which will cover all years, has capacity for 17 classrooms and almost 350 children. Its catchment area covers over 1m people due to highly populated nature of the Katowice urban agglomeration.
Maple Bear Wroclaw opened on 2 September 2024 in a newly renovated building on Kościuszki 84, a busy thoroughfare near the centre of the city. The building is part of an educational complex dating back to the 1890’s and until recently functioned as a school of jazz. It was beautifully restored by the Maple Bear team and its contractors. The school which will cover the kindergarten and elementary years has capacity for ten classrooms and over 200 children. Its catchment area covers over 500,000 people.
Maple Bear Krakow opened on 1 September 2024 on the ground floor of a large business park in the eastern side of Krakow called “The Park” which is being developed by White Star Realty. The school covers the kindergarten years and has capacity for five classrooms and ninety children although there is potential to expand this capacity in future years. Its catchment area covers almost 600,000 people.
Maple Bear Brno opened on 2 September 2024 in an office building that forms part of a large urban rejuvenation project in the suburbs of Brno, Czechia’s second largest city. The school, which will cover elementary years, has capacity for 12 classrooms and 240 children. Its catchment area covers almost 370,000 people.
Maple Bear Olomouc opened on 2 September 2024 in a research, education and office complex close to the centre of Olomouc called BEA. The school, which will cover the kindergarten and elementary years, has capacity for 14 classrooms and 300 children. Its catchment area covers almost 180,000 people.
