A consortium of private equity investors led by Absa Capital Private Equity and Vantage Capital had acquired Kwikspace Modular Buildings for R683 million, the consortium announced yesterday. Andre Pieterse, the chief executive of Absa Capital Private Equity, said the offer was implemented via a scheme arrangement between Kwikspace and its shareholders.
“This buyout represents a new and exciting phase in this relationship,” said Mutle Mogase, Vantage Capital’s director on the Kwikspace board.
